we got picked up fairly fast by someone going to Paris. They dropped us on the outskirts, where we got a bus and a train into the centre.―Alifeee

we were unsure about this one, but fairly quickly someone stopped and took us to Porte d'Italie in the South. We were trying to get to Lyon eventually. a few other people were going other directions.―Alifeee

Taken by Jérémy. A lot of local people that doesn't go that far.―Anonymous

I would advise against hitchhiking here. Although there were a lot of cars, I waited a long time with a sign "A5 Sens/Troyes". There was a homeless man asking the cars at the traffic light for money, and there was no place for them to stop except there.―Anonymous

It takes a long time to get to the station, we walked 35 min from Sarges Les Le Mans after 20min of bus from Le Mans trainstation but this spot is perfect ! A really big station si it was quite intimidating to ask people at first but the third person we asked took us and even brang us to the train station ( not on their road). It is hard to access but it’s worth the walk―Lulin

I agree that it's a really weird spot and it was mostly locals but there's space to stand at the side of the turnaround (if a bit windy, also no shelter, so not a spot for bad weather) and cars can stop too. With a sign to Paris we (2ppl) found a ride to Aulnay within half an hour and from there taking the train into Paris proper was pretty easy (and cheap.)―Anonymous

Long to reach, just like all the good spots to get out of Paris.I also had three offers for a ride to Meaux, which can be interesting since cars have to cross the toll to get there.

Was with a friend with a sign "Angers", found a car directly going to Paris (actually he was going to Nuremberg) so that was quite the luck! But this spot never failed me.―Anonymous

I got taken there from Reims. Very little traffic, I thought I was gonna be there for long, but someone stopped and took me to a banlieu of Paris after about 15min―blub

Best spot to go to Paris but hard to access! I had to walk 1h from Zamenhof (there's a bus stop to the name of the founder of Esperanto lol) to arrive but this is really worth it cause once you're there you'll find very quickly a ride.―Anonymous

Standing there (2 people) with a sign over an hour, and many who stopped went only a very short distance until one was willing to take us to the Aire des Ferrières.―Anonymous

A bit long to get here but simple (just RER to Bussy St George and just walk, better than going to Vémars).A kind worker took us (we were 2) to the station near the end.
We found an old couple who took us to Reims, good people.
Good place to go east, I also want to try if by I can go to Brussel easier from Paris by starting here compared to Vémars maybe.

Waited around an hour with a sign that said Germany, changed it to Reims and got a ride in 45 minutes. It was raining which made the wait unpleasant and long.―JayAimless
